Carbon plaster and copper float

Dried prickly pear frottages.

This copper float from a cattle trough has been used for frottage and now a roller to make geometric lines across the paper with a piece of carbon.

With a piece of old carbon, mosquito netting and chisel I have drawn fractured, vibrating lines in a downward motion.

Used plaster discs evoke ideas of boring, drilling, tunnelling. I am experimenting with mediums to draw on these discs.
