Bimblebox arts project

Capturing smoke and ash
This week I've been part of an arts project on Bimblebox Nature Reserve, earmarked for China first coal project. Various artists efforts may well be a part of a record of the diversity of flora and fauna that one day may no longer exist. This is something that was on my mind while exploring this area 50km north of Alpha. I wanted to start from the ground, the terrain as this is the ceiling to the Great Artesian Basin. Imprinting fencelines represents the netting system that also is a symbol of boundaries and ownership. The symbol of the fence also represents connecting layers that make up  the Basin. http://bimbleboxartproject.wordpress.com/
