Since 1999 bores have been capped across many properties. Therefore watering sites are points instead of a linear channel, therefore saving much water and evaporation.


 I visited the Poetry Festival in Brisbane Spoken in One Strange Word last month at the Judith Wright Centre Contemporary Art.
 Angela Rawlings from Canada writes and speaks about the Language of Water. She has recorded water sounds including Hot springs in Iceland . Her writing has  a sense of repetition that one hears in the sounds of these springs.  Rawlings observed this phenomena while listening to the Springs and talks about language that exists in another place but of which we normally dont speak .
