Shields and Mulga (acacia aneura)

Imprinting old mulga cut stumps. The trees feed stock in long periods of drought. The word comes from Aboriginal meaning of the word Shield from its  hard wood. Work in progress drawn on red kouzo paper. Below is work a few months later south of original area. A grid system from an old gate was used to overlay.
