When I visited the tsunami affected areas of Japan, I picked up a magnifying glass. It had survived the seas, only a few scratches on it s edges. I have used it as a tool to distribute tusche and ink into circular forms.
An overhead projector has extended this 'performance' which has allowed a moving image which I film on my camera. Another image with a grid sequence of these patterns has been waxed to allow even more transparency.
